Shark's Cove is on the island of Oahu. It is located on the north shore of the island. It was named Shark's Cove because white tip sharks, usually hang out there. These sharks should not be harassed in any way. Shark's Cove is a beautiful beach where you can see all different types of marine life in there natural environment. There are lots of sea turtles that can be found swimming in the cove. There are also different types of moray eels that live in the cracks of the reef. There are large lava tubes underwater. These tubes can be very dangerous if entered without the proper training. The depth is about 40ft.The dive plan is set for 45 minutes at a bottom depth of 40ft. The best time to dive there is when the seas are calm, usually from March to October as you can see the picture on the top left. The winter is almost impossible to dive, do to the large surf as shown in the picture in the middle. The winter time is usually the best time to check out the large waves that hit the north shore and the conditions are not good for diving. The temperature ranges for 70-75f. (21-24c.).The visibility averages about 80ft
