2 Beach Dive $80 There are different places to beach dive on the island of Oahu.

The Westside
is where you can find the best beach entry dive sites. Since this part of the island is less populated, the abundance of fish and coral is plentiful. The conditions as far as the waves and the current is concern, are usually calm most time of the year. This makes it the ideal place to dive. The first dive site as you hit the west side is called Kahe Point. This is the best spot on the island. The entry and exit is very simply to do. Here you can find rare fishes as well as sea turtles. Here you can see dolphins 95% of the time jumping and playing right offshore. This is a cool place to get wet.

The North shore,
also have interesting beach dives. The most famous point on the north shore is called Sharks Cove. The cove was formed by lava flows long ago. For the advance divers, there are several lava tubes that you can go into. It is recommended that you go with a local guide and not by yourself. These tubes could be very dangerous to the unfamiliar. This dive you can see a lot of sergeant fishes as well as different types of butterfly fishes. The next famous dive on the north shore is called Three Tables. It was given the name Three Tables because right offshore you can see three huge table like reefs. This dive you can see all sorts of different marine life. There are a lot of wrasses, butterfly fishes, also on occasions you can see frog fishes that blend with the coral reefs. This is another good dive site. The diving here is good until winter time. Winter time is when the waves pick up. In the winter the waves could get up to 40ft+.This makes it impossible to dive. The north shore is not usually good for diving in the winter time.

The East Shore
There are a couple of places to beach dive on the east shore. The first place is called the famous Blow Hole. The entry is pretty hard. You have to walk down the side of a cliff. This is not for the unfit diver. The movie From Here to Eternity was filmed here. This beach was also, formed my flowing lava. There are a lot of fishes here, such as butterflies, wrasses, sergeants, and much more. In the winter time you can see whales jumping way offshore. There are a lot of sea turtles that also swim right by the seashore. This beach brings you back to the old Hawaii. This is a good dive spot for the adventurest.The next site we go to is called Port Lock. This is a small beach that was also, formed by lava flow. For the entry you have to walk down a small cliff and do a giant stride off a small ledge. This dive is usually about 60 to 100ft. visibility. There are nice ledges underwater here. Makes it look like the Grand Canyon. There are a lot of nice looking aquarium type fishes here. The depth goes from 25ft to 60ft.This makes it an ideal beach dive. The winds are usually very strong on the eastside, making the water very choppy. These dives on the eastside can only be done certain times of the year.

The South Shore
Magic Island is probably the only spot on the Southside that you'll be able to dive from shore. The entry and exit is very easy since its right from the beach. There are some sea turtles and also, a lot of reef fishes. The visibility is about an average of 30 to 60ft.The Southside of the island is very populated so the water offshore is not very clear. Usually if you want a good dive on the south shore, you need to go on a boat dive.
